FAQs

Q: What is vintage clothing?

A: Vintage clothing refers to clothing that is at least 20 years old, but less than 100 years old. These items have a unique history and are often sought after for their quality, design, and craftsmanship.

Q: What is a curated bundle of vintage clothing and accessories?

A: A curated bundle is a collection of vintage clothing and accessories that have been hand-selected by a vintage seller based on their quality, uniqueness, and style. The seller carefully sources each item from various locations, such as thrift stores, estate sales, and by-the-pound resellers.

Q: How do I purchase a vintage bundle?

A: You can purchase a curated bundle by visiting Socorro Society's website or social media page. Select the bundle that best fits the amount of clothing that you are looking for. After you check out you will be sent an email with a getting to know you questionnaire, links to sign up for a video meeting and start a Pinterest board.

Q: How do I know if the clothing will fit me?

A: During a scheduled video call we will take your measurments together, and take measurements of where you like clothing to fit you. This way, you can be sure that the clothing will fit well before you make a purchase.

Q: Can I exchange items if they don't fit?

A: The vintage seller typically does not accept returns or exchanges, as each item is unique and one-of-a-kind. However, if there is an issue with the item or it does not fit as described, you can contact the seller to discuss your options.

Q: How do I care for vintage clothing?

A: Vintage clothing requires special care to ensure that it lasts for many years to come. The vintage seller will typically include care instructions with each item, but in general, you should avoid machine-washing vintage clothing and instead opt for hand-washing or dry cleaning. You should also store vintage clothing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
